Match Report: VCFF return empty-handed (2-1)

Florencia Bonsegundo broke the deadlock just seven minutes into the game with a brilliant solo move which started off from the centre circle leaving players in her wake beating them all for pace to finish it off in style lifting the ball over Méline and into the back of the net.
VCFF were off to a bright start to the game as the hosts were looking to equalise. However, VCFF came close to extending their lead through Jansen who struck the left-hand post on 21 minutes and just eight minutes later an effort came back off the bar off of Cristina Cubedo.
Enith kept the scoreline at 0-1 with a brilliant save in the closing minutes. VCFF edged RBB at half-time.
VCFF came out in the second half looking to keep their focus being stuck in stopping the host from stringing passes together. However the hosts equalised through Dorine over the hour mark following a corner kick.
Both sides searched for the winning goal but it was the hosts who found the back of the net just under ten minutes from normal time remaining through Sosa.
VCFF tried to get back into the game to no avail as the game ended in a 2-1 loss to RBB. VCFF will welcome Rayo Vallecano on Saturday at 1:45 pm kick-off time on matchday 8 of Primera Iberdrola.
